We invite volunteers to take part in the research study of body reaction to solar eclipse
2016-02-24
We invite all users of VedaPulse Professional and VedaPulse Home to participate in the study of solar eclipse influence on the functional health status of the body. The next full solar eclipse will happen on March 9th, 2016. Peak of the eclipse will happen in the area of Caroline Islands around 1:58:19 GMT and the full phase there will last for 4 minutes and 9 seconds. In Russia this eclipse will be visible only on Kuril Islands, however, we expect that it will still have some influence on people beyond its visibility zone.
We ask that all participants take 5-minute VedaPulse measurements regularly at the same time at 2:00 am GMT starting from February 29th through March 16th. At the day of the eclipse, measurements should be taken every half an hour starting from 23:00 through 5:00 GMT.
Participation in the research if voluntary and is not paid for. However, we will provide detailed feedback to each participant. After we finish analyzing the data, we will send reports about dynamics of the health status to every participant. If you would like to take part in this study, please send an e-mail to support@vedapulse.com. In the response e-mail we will send you detailed instructions. In the subject field, please write “Solar eclipse March 9th, 2016.
