The Microbiome tab contains information about the balance between normobionts and pathobionts, as well as the level of inflammation and the degree of toxin buildup.
The key indicator of this tab is the Skin Microbiome index, which reflects the ratio of normobionts to pathobionts. Normobionts are microorganisms that constitute the healthy skin microflora and perform important functions such as supporting immunity, protecting against pathogens, and participating in metabolic processes. Pathobionts are opportunistic microorganisms that are normally present on the skin in small quantities but can cause inflammatory processes and other issues under certain conditions.
The analysis presented in the Microbiome tab allows the cosmetologist to identify a potential imbalance in the skin microbiome, which may manifest as an overgrowth of pathobionts requiring eradication programs. This can be associated with various factors such as skin pH imbalance, improper skincare, stress, intestinal dysbiosis, internal organ diseases, and others. Based on the obtained data, the specialist can select an individualized skincare program aimed at restoring a healthy microbiome.
The chart allows for the simultaneous assessment of the Inflammation and Slagging indicators. Comparing these two indicators enables the cosmetologist to determine whether the skin issue is a consequence of an active inflammatory process or related to general body intoxication, and to develop an individualized strategy for correcting the skin condition. This strategy may include not only topical cosmetic procedures but also measures to normalize the intestinal microflora, detoxify the body, and reduce inflammation.
