Herbal Encyclopedia

The Herbal Encyclopedia software module enables a specialist to create a personalized herbal formulation for a client using mathematical algorithms. These algorithms incorporate:

• The canonical description of herbs from Dravyaguna in Ayurvedic practice,
• Materia Medica in Chinese herbology,
• And the healing properties of herbs from the perspective of clinical Western herbal medicine and naturopathy.

The main functions of the module include:

• Generating a personalized phytotherapeutic prescription;
• Forming a list of constitutionally suitable medicinal herbs for a specific client, ranking them according to the current functional state, and calculating the strength of each herb's effect on the client;
• Searching for herbs by specified parameters: Ayurvedic properties, TCM properties, and clinical characteristics (botanical name, synonyms, family, etc.);
• Providing a detailed description of the preparation technology and application methods for medicinal raw materials;
• Selecting medicinal herbs using a "nosological filter" for specific diseases;
• Describing the constitutional properties of medicinal herbs from the perspectives of Western herbal medicine, Ayurveda, and Traditional Chinese Medicine;
• Automatically generating a report containing the phytotherapy prescription.
