Chakras

The Chakras tab allows you to assess the energy in the Raja centers (Chakras), which are associated with internal organs. From a physiological perspective, it provides a visualization of the state of the endocrine glands and neural plexuses, and evaluates their interrelation with the corresponding organs. These include the sacral, lumbar, solar (celiac), thoracic, cervical plexuses, and the subcortical structures of the brain.

The diagram depicts a yogi with the seven chakras:

• Muladhara

  Associated with coccygeal plexus, prostate gland (in men), G-spot ( in women). Governs the excretory processes. Llinked to the Bhuta Prithvi (Earth element) and the subdosha Apana Vata. Reflects the state of Ojas (vital essence).

• Svadhistshana

  Associated with the sacral plexus and the hypogastric plexus.Governs the urinary and reproductive systems. Linked to the Bhuta Jala (Water), subdoshas Apana Vata, Avalambaka Kapha.

• Manipura

  Associated with the lumbar plexus and the solar (celiac) plexus.Governs the organs within the abdominal cavity. Linked to the Bhuta Agni (Fire), subdoshas Pachaka Pitta, Ranjaka Pitta, Samana Vata.

• Anahata

  Associated with the thoracic nerve plexus. Governs the cardiovascular system, lung function, and the thyroid gland. Linked to the Bhuta Vayu (Wind), subdoshas Prana Vata, Vyana Vata, Ranjaka Pitta, Sadhaka Pitta, Avalambaka Kapha, Tarpaka Kapha.

• Vishudha

  It is associated with the cervical plexus and regulates the neural pathways linking the sense organs to the subcortical structures and hypothalamus. Linked to the Bhuta Akasha (Ether) and the subdosha Udana Vata.

• Ajna

  Epiphyse and pituitary. Governs the mental projection of consciousness through the left (logical) cerebral hemisphere. Linked to the subdosha Sadhaka Pitta

• Sahasrara

  Governs the mental projection of consciousness through the right (intuitive) cerebral hemisphere. Linked to the Tarpaka Kapha.

The energy level of each chakra is represented by the diameter of its corresponding circle on the yogi's figure and is quantified in the ten-point scale table on the right side of the screen:

• 0-1.5 points — Energy deficiency
• 1.5-5 points — Normal energy state
• 5-10 points — Energy excess (state of tension)
