Musculoskeletal diseases and Diabetes mellitus

At this seminar:

Dr. Ram will talk about comparative analysis of treatment principles of musculoskeletal diseases and diabetes mellitus from the perspective of western medicine and based on Ayurvedic approach to management of these conditions;
You will receive instructions that will allow you to decrease a long-term dependency on pain killers, anti-inflammatory medicines and steroids in your patients or decrease their doses in management of musculoskeletal disorders;
You will study clinical protocols approved by AYUSH and validated in Western countries which describe procedures for prevention of Diabetes, as well as management of Prediabetes and Diabetes at different stages from the perspective of academic medicine and based on Ayurvedic knowledge;
Dr. Ram will explain some clinical cases of complications in Diabetes and Musculoskeletal diseases and will give a plan of actions for supervising such patients;

Dr. P. Ram Manohar –

Director and Founder of AVP Research Foundation, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India;
Research Director at Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Āyurveda (ĀCĀRA), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kollam, India;
He has been contributing in the field of Ayurvedic research since the last 24 years. He has to his credit more than 60 publications with research papers published in SCI research journals as well as contributions in other journals and chapters for books;
Scientific advisor of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association of Russia (NAMAR);
Editor of many scientific journals on Ayurveda, in particular «Ancient Science of Life»;
Main ideologist and facilitator of the International scientific project “INDRA” which goal is to implement clinical protocols used in Ayurveda into Western medicine standards.
